FolderCue is designed to organize files and folders locally on your Windows PC while keeping you in control.
FolderCue can access the folders and files that you choose to use in your Cues.
This may include file names, folder names, file paths, file types, and file metadata needed to evaluate and perform your rules.
This information is used locally on your device to provide FolderCue’s file-organization features.
FolderCue does not operate its own cloud service and does not send your files or file contents to a FolderCue server.
FolderCue does not include advertising, third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, a FolderCue cloud account, or custom telemetry services.
FolderCue stores application settings, Cue configuration, activity information and related application state locally on your Windows device.
FolderCue does not intentionally upload this information to a FolderCue-operated online service.
FolderCue is distributed through the Microsoft Store.
If you download FolderCue or purchase FolderCue Pro, Microsoft may process information related to your Microsoft Store account, app acquisition and installation, licensing and entitlement, payment and transaction processing, and Store diagnostics and usage information.
This information is handled by Microsoft under Microsoft’s own privacy policies and terms. FolderCue does not receive your payment-card information.
FolderCue Pro is offered as a one-time Microsoft Store purchase. FolderCue uses Microsoft Store licensing services to determine whether FolderCue Pro is available for the current user. No separate FolderCue account is required.
FolderCue’s core file automation works locally. Network access may be used when communicating with Microsoft Store services for distribution, licensing or FolderCue Pro purchase and entitlement checks.
FolderCue does not operate its own cloud backend for processing your files.
You decide which folders FolderCue can use, which Cues you create, when a Cue is activated, when automation is paused, and when supported operations are undone.
FolderCue does not intentionally perform file automation until a Cue has been previewed and explicitly activated.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if FolderCue’s functionality or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published at this page.
